Description

The building is a former schoolhouse and library located about 15 metres south of the Church of All Saints. It dates from the mid-19th century and is constructed of yellow brick with a slate roof. The structure is one storey high and sits on a plinth, featuring a kneelered parapet gabled roof with large gables on both the left and right sides, each adorned with small lancet windows. There are three chamfered-light windows on the return elevations, and the west front has a rib and stud door set in a four-centred arched doorway within a gabled porch. Although it is marked as a library on Ordnance Survey maps, the building is now derelict. It is included for its group value.
