Description

Brook Cottage is a 17th-century house located on the north side of Brook Street in Eastry. It is constructed of red brick, which is painted on the front elevation, and has flint footings. The cottage features a thatched roof with a lobby entry plan. It is one storey high with an attic, set on a plinth with a plat band. The roof is hipped to the left and half-hipped to the right, and it includes two eyebrow dormers and a central stack on the left. The front has three wooden casements with leaded lights and segmental heads, along with a ribbed door located to the centre left within a hipped porch.
