Description

Amber Close is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the mid-20th century. It features painted brick on a flint base and has a plain tiled roof. The building is one storey with an attic, set on a plinth with kneelered gables, and includes four hipped dormers along with stacks positioned to the left, at the rear center, and to the right. The front has four wooden casement windows and a central boarded door. There is a 20th-century conservatory at the left end. At the rear, there is a two-storey range that is almost detached from the main structure; the upper storey is timber framed and roughcast, while the ground floor is made of painted brick and was originally used for non-domestic purposes.
