Description

The Long Barn, located adjoining the boundary of Bartlemas and to the north-west of No 14 St Barts, is a red brick structure dating from the early 18th century. It has recently been covered with slate in a diagonal pattern instead of the original thatch. The barn features four windows, which are casements with intact glazing bars, while the other windows have been replaced with sheet glass. The barn is part of a group that includes Bartlemas and the complex of St Bartholomews Hospital.
