Description

Stonehall Farm is a house dating from the 15th century, substantially re-clad in the 18th century. The ground floor is built of flint and rubble, while the upper floor is timber-framed and clad in red brick. The roof is covered in plain tiles and is hipped, with stacks projecting at the left end and a further three projecting and offset on the front elevation. The front elevation has three wooden casement windows on the first floor and one on the ground floor to the left. A four-centred stone doorway is located centrally, with a rib and stud door. The right return is jettied, and a catslide roof extension projects to the rear. Close-studding was previously visible on the rear elevation.
