Description

Yew Tree Cottage is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of red and blue brick, with the side and rear elevations painted, and features some tile hanging at the rear. The roof is plain tiled and the building has two storeys plus an attic, standing on a plinth with chimneys located to both the left and right. There are two gabled dormers and a regular arrangement of windows. The first floor has three wooden casement windows, while the ground floor has two glazing bar sash windows. The central entrance features a boarded door with a segmental head. At the rear, there is a hipped two-storey stair projection and a single-storey wing with a gable and stack.
