Description
No. 52, including the outhouse to the north, is a mid-18th century building constructed of yellow brick. It stands three storeys high and features three windows on both the first and second floors, accented with red brick dressings, relieving arches, and quoins. The building has a plain tiled roof and a wooden eaves cornice with modillions. The glazing bars are intact, and the windows have cambered head linings, except for those on the second floor. On the ground floor, there is a three-light bay window with a cornice and a dentilled course, also complete with glazing bars. The doorway is framed and topped with a pediment supported by moulded consoles, featuring an ornamental fanlight and a six-panel fielded door, with the top two panels glazed. Attached to the house to the north is an outbuilding, possibly timber framed, which has modern red brick facings and metal casement windows.
