Description

No 1 Galliard Street is a 17th century house that was altered in the 18th century. It has two storeys and features three windows with a stuccoed front. There is a string course above each floor and a parapet. The first floor retains its glazing bars. The doorway includes a rectangular fanlight, and there are modern windows on the ground floor. This building, along with Nos 1 to 5 (odd) and No 53 New Street, forms a group.
