Description

No. 9 Market Street is a building that likely dates from the late 17th century. It has two storeys and attics, with a stuccoed exterior. The roof is tiled and features a gable end. The building has one window on the second floor, which is a sliding sash. The first floor includes a five-light canted bay window, while the ground floor has a sash window with Venetian shutters. Above the ground floor, there is a simple doorcase and a moulded beam from the early 19th century. Nos. 5 to 9 Market Street form a group of buildings.
