Description

Walnut Tree Farmhouse is a late 16th to early 17th century timber-framed building. The ground floor has been refaced with red brick, while the first floor is now tile hung. The rear elevation is weatherboarded, and the building features a tiled roof that is hipped at the north end. There are two modern casement windows and a large brick chimney breast on the south wall, which has tumbling in. The entrance includes a simple doorcase with a flat wooden weather hood. Inside, the farmhouse showcases exposed timber-framing and a large inglenook fireplace.
