Description
The North Barn at Home Farm is a 17th-century barn with an oak frame, featuring three bays and a half bay extension. It is faced with weatherboarding on a brick plinth, and the roof is now covered in corrugated iron. The barn has a central cart entrance, and the porch has been infilled with a smaller door and a window above. The roof includes staggered butt purlins, which is unusual for Kent, as well as collar beams. There are passing braces to the aisles. One principal post has been partially replaced by a pole, and the frame of the north end wall is missing.
