Description

This is a late 17th-century house located on the north-east side of The Street in Ickham and Well. The house is constructed of red brick and extends over two storeys and has attic space. Originally it comprised three bays, with a later addition to one end. The roof is tiled, featuring a single hipped dormer, and the gable ends have kneelers. The original windows are sash windows, retaining their glazing bars and shutters. The ground-floor windows are distinguished by their cambered architraves. A doorcase features an open pediment and pilasters. Inside, the house includes an inglenook fireplace, some panelling, and a dog-leg staircase with turned balusters.
