Description

The Baye House is a timber-framed building, dating from the 17th century or earlier and refaced in the 18th century. It is two storeys and has attics, constructed of red brick with a hipped tiled roof. The roof features two hipped dormers and a modillion eaves cornice. Four sash windows with intact glazing bars are present, each with Gothic heads; the ground floor windows have arched heads. A modern porch has been added. Some exposed timber-framing is visible on the first floor of the north-east corner. The building possesses group value from its contribution to the character of the area.
