Description
The Red House is a large 18th-century home that stands three storeys high, constructed of red brick. It features a parapet and a hipped tile roof with stacks at each end. The facade includes five windows that are hung sashes with glazing bars. The entrance is marked by a doorway set within a moulded architrave surround, flanked by pilasters, and topped with a projecting cornice. The door itself consists of six moulded panels. Inside, the house contains fireplaces that were salvaged from Nethersole House, located in the nearby parish of Womenswold, when that building was demolished around 1786.
