Description

The Old Farmhouse is a 16th century or earlier timber-framed building with a 17th century brick L-wing. The L-wing was refaced in red brick with blue headers in the 18th century. The farmhouse has one storey and attics, with the original section featuring a steeply pitched old tiled roof. The L-wing has a tiled roof with a gable end and an external brick chimney stack with tumbling in. There is a part stringcourse and three casement windows. The doorcase has a flat wooden hood and a six fielded panelled door. Inside, the farmhouse includes exposed beams and inglenook fireplaces.
