Description
Lower Garrington Farmhouse is a 17th century double L-shaped building. It is timber-framed and has been refaced in brick, which is now painted. The roof is hipped and tiled. The farmhouse features casement windows throughout, with three windows facing south and three facing east. There is a simple doorcase. This building is one of the ancient manors; Henry VIII granted the Manor to Sir Christopher Hales, his Master of the Rolls, and it later descended through the Colepeper family.
