Tavern Cottage, originally part of the old Cock Inn, is a 16th-century timber-framed building located at 8 Westgate Grove. It is three storeys high and has a plastered exterior with a tiled roof and gable front, featuring an overhang. The second floor has a restored casement window, while the first floor showcases a three-light mullioned and transomed bay. The ground floor includes a modern door.
