Description

A mid-19th century gas lantern and column stands at the corner of Beach Alley. The structure comprises a fluted cast iron column supporting a square lantern. The lantern has a base that is smaller than its top. It features a sloping roof terminating in anthemion foliage at each of the four corners, alongside two bell vents and a finial. The lantern is gas-lit.
