Description

The gas lantern and column outside No. 4 Waterloo Road is a mid-19th century structure. It features a cast iron column that is fluted and supported by four ogee braces. The lantern is square in shape, with a smaller base than its top, and has a sloping roof that includes two bell vents. The lantern is gas lit.
