Description
The Duke of Cumberland Hotel is a yellow brick building from the late 19th century, featuring red brick quoins and arches. It has occasional yellow bricks arranged in fan patterns and double round-headed windows on both the front and side elevations, supported by slender iron columns with foliated capitals. The structure is two stories tall with an attic, which includes three dormers on the front and side elevations. A stone porch with pilasters and a semi-circular headed arch enhances the entrance. The building has a modern tiled roof and tile hanging between the dormers. It occupies a key position on Harbour Street.
