Description
Nos 53 to 55 on St Dunstan's Street are late 18th century facades attached to older buildings. A rainwater head on the property is dated 1783. The buildings are three storeys tall and constructed of red brick, although No 55 is now painted. They feature a hipped tiled roof with a modillion eaves cornice. There are four windows in total, with bay windows on the first floor and at Nos 54 and 55 on the ground floor as well. Most of the glazing bars are missing. The doorways have pilasters, and both Nos 53 and 55 have rectangular fanlights, while No 54 has a pediment and a semi-circular fanlight. The doors consist of six fielded panels. The rear elevation has a roof with three hips and is partially tile-hung. Nos 51 to 66 form a group with these buildings.
