Description

The Chantry is a timber-framed building dating from the 16th century or earlier, which was refaced in the 18th century. It has two storeys and is rendered on the exterior. The roof is hipped and covered with old tiles, featuring one gabled dormer. There are three windows, including one 19th-century sash window with vertical glazing bars only. A modern gabled porch has been added to the front. The right-hand bay of the building is a modern extension designed to match the original style. Inside, the property includes inglenook fireplaces and a chamfered beam, along with upright posts that have jowls.
