Description

Sarness Farmhouse, dated 1774, is a two-storey building constructed of red brick. It features a hipped tiled roof with a pentice on the south side. The facade has four sash windows, although the glazing bars are missing. In the center of the first floor, where a window would typically be, there is a round-headed arch made of grey headers, with a corbel above it. Inside the arch, there is a panel inscribed with "S C 1774". Below, there is a 19th-century gabled porch.
