Walnut Tree Cottage is a building from the 18th century or earlier, located on the southeast side of Canterbury Road in Herne Common. It is two storeys tall, constructed of red brick, with weatherboarding at the rear. The cottage features a thatched roof with one dormer and has two casement windows. A trellised wooden porch adds to its charm.
