Description
Middle Pett Farmhouse is a late medieval timber-framed hall house with exposed timber at the eaves, accompanied by a mid 19th-century extension facing the road. The earlier section is two storeys high, constructed from red and blue brick, and features a hipped tile roof. It has four casement windows on each floor, with the ground floor windows having segmental arched heads and modern glazing, while the first floor windows are leaded. To the left, there is a one-storey extension and some rebuilt brickwork. The building has a brick plinth and contains an inglenook fireplace that has recently been exposed, along with other exposed timbers. It was formerly thatched. The 19th-century range includes three windows and a plain door.
