Description

No 8 High Street is an early 19th-century building, similar in style to Nos 10 and 12. It is two storeys tall, constructed of stucco with a hipped Welsh slate roof sloping to the right. The façade features one window with hung sashes and glazing bars, and above the ground floor window, there is a blank window recess that slightly projects forward. The entrance door consists of six fielded panels and is accessed by four steps, set back in a round-headed recess. There is a band at the first-floor cills and a recessed panel below the ground floor window. The building has a high plinth and a basement entry, topped with a double-span roof.
