Description

Brooklands Cottage, also known as Brooklands Farmhouse, is an L-shaped house located on South Street. The west wing likely dates from the early 18th century, while the main front was built around 1830. The building has two storeys and features three windows with intact glazing bars. It is constructed of red brick and has a tiled roof with an eaves cornice. On the ground floor, there are two small bays, and between these bays is a rusticated round-headed doorway that includes a semi-circular fanlight.
