Description

Nos 68 and 68A on Stour Street are early 19th century buildings that stand three storeys tall with a basement, constructed from stock brick and featuring stone coping. The front facade includes four sash windows with intact glazing bars and stone sills. The round-headed doorcase is adorned with an open pediment, console brackets, paterae, and plain pilasters that have reeded capitals and swag decoration. There are also footscrapers present. No 68A serves as a one-storey annexe to No 68, featuring a hipped tiled roof and a cambered carriage entrance. Together, Nos 63 to 68A form a cohesive group.
