Description

Broome Cottage, formerly known as The Cottage, is a 17th-century gardener’s cottage situated within Broome Park, near Barham, Canterbury. The building is timber-framed and largely brick-cased, with a rendered front facade. The rear elevation is partially tile-hung, and the roof is tiled with brick stacks. It has casement windows. The interior retains ceiling beams and an inglenook fireplace. The garden features a circular brick pathway surrounding the remains of a donkey pump.
