Description

29A The Cathedral Precincts is a building that was constructed as part of the Archdeacon's house and includes genuine medieval work, dating from around 1950. It is 2 to 3 storeys high, faced with flint and featuring some brick and stone end quoins. The building has two cambered sash windows and a medieval arch with a two-storey oriel window above.

This property, along with Nos 20 and 29A, forms part of a group that includes Pilgrim's or Pentise entry attached to No 29, a wall in the garden of No 29, wall and gatepiers between Nos 28 and 29, a gateway from Green Court, and the building adjoining to the left, which is the King's School Library with a Norman staircase.
