Description
Nos 13 and 13A on St Peter's Street are 16th-century buildings that stand two storeys tall with gables. They are timber-framed and currently covered in stucco, topped with an old tiled roof featuring fine carved bargeboards. The gables have sash windows, while the first floor includes one casement and two restored sashes. The buildings have later shop fronts. The gable overhang is supported by two console brackets and two finely carved figures. The side elevation reveals an exposed timber frame with curved braces and a blocked four-centred arched window opening. The rear elevation is constructed of early 18th-century brick. Nos 12, 13, 13A, and the Church of St Peter form a group.
