Description

26 Wincheap is an 18th and 19th century building, likely refronted from an earlier structure. It is two storeys high and has a stuccoed exterior. The roof is tiled, with one dormer window. A first-floor oriel window projects from the front. A later 19th-century shop front is also present. The right side of the building features an early 19th-century doorcase with a projecting cornice, pilasters, and a rectangular fanlight with glazing bars. The door is a six-panelled door. Numbers 22 to 28, the even-numbered properties, form a group.
