Description

This is a pair of late 18th or early 19th century buildings, numbers 34 and 36, St Peter’s Street. They are two storeys high and built of red brick, with a stone parapet coping. Numbers 34 and 35 feature recessed arcading extending from the second to the first floor. Each building has one sash window on each floor, and the glazing bars are intact, with stone sills. Number 34 and 35 share a triple sash window on the first floor. Numbers 34 and 36 have later shop fronts. Number 35 has an early 19th century shop front with a curved pediment, cornice, two Roman Doric half columns and panelled risers. Numbers 34 to 39 form a group.
