Description

A row of cottages dating from the late 17th or early 18th century occupies numbers 79 to 85 on the High Street. The cottages are built of red brick, with imitation quoins and a painted stringcourse. They have two storeys and an attic. The windows are casements, with cambered head linings on the ground floor. Original windows with small square panes remain in numbers 79, 81, and 83. Each cottage has a four-panel door with a flat hood above. Numbers 79 to 117 (odd) form a group.
