Description
Nos 120 to 124 on High Street are three cottages dating from the 18th century. They are fronted with weatherboarding and built on a timber frame, featuring two storeys and an attic. Each cottage has one window and one dormer. The glazing bars are intact on Nos 120 and 124, which also have doorcases topped with pediment-shaped hoods. Nos 120 and 122 boast attractive modern curved shop windows that include complete glazing bars designed to resemble 18th-century styles. No 124 features a modern shop front and a bay window above it. These cottages, along with the other listed buildings on the north side from Nos 112 to 134, form a cohesive group.
