Description

The Firs is a house of mixed dates, with its origins in a 17th-century north-east wing. The original portion is constructed of painted red brick, with the first floor of the north-easternmost window bay being tile-hung. This section has a hip roof. Casement windows with small square leaded panes are a feature. A 19th-century addition extends to the west, forming an L-shaped projection to the north with a hipped tiled roof.
