Description

Walnut Tree Cottage is a 18th-century building located in Great Chart. The original part of the cottage consists of the west and south wings, forming an L-shape. In the early 19th century, the angle of the 'L' was filled in. The cottage has two storeys and is faced with red brick on the ground floor, while the upper section is tile-hung. It features a hipped tiled roof and has two sash windows with verticals only.
