Description

Gothic Cottages, consisting of Nos 1 and 2, are a pair of mid 19th century cottages located on the northwest side of The Street in Great Chart. They are one storey high with attics, constructed from ragstone rubble. The cottages feature a tiled roof with a large brick chimney stack. Each cottage has a gable that includes a dormer and carved barge boards. There are two casement windows and a simple doorcase.
