Description

The Laurels is a 17th-century building located on the east side of North Street in Biddenden. It has two storeys and attics, with a distinctive façade covered in fishscale tiles. The roof is half-hipped and tiled, featuring three hipped dormers. A moulded wooden eaves cornice adds to its architectural detail. The building includes three casement windows with small square leaded panes, and a large 18th-century style bay window on the ground floor. The entrance is framed by a doorcase with muted pilasters, a flat hood supported by brackets, a triglyph frieze, and a door composed of eight fielded panels.
