Description

Lilac House, located at No 27 North Street in Biddenden, is a 17th-century building. It has two storeys and attics, with its exterior faced in fishscale tiles. The roof is half-hipped and tiled, featuring two hipped dormers. The house has three casement windows, each with small square leaded panes. The doorcase includes a flat hood, which is now covered by a modern tiled canopy, and the door consists of three fielded panels. There is a portion at the north end of the building that has a ground floor only and is topped with a pentice roof.
