Description
The remains of the boundary walls of the Archbishop's Palace date back to the 14th century. These walls are constructed from stone rubble and are located to the south of the cottages, the gatehouse, the farmhouse, and the barn. The wall extends at right angles on the east end of the barn and again at right angles to the north. There is a wall on the west side, but it is of much later construction. Additionally, at the junction of Pett Lane and High Street, there is a reset medieval capital.
