Description

Forge House is a pair of 18th century cottages located on the east side of High Street in Charing. The buildings are two storeys tall with a basement, constructed from red brick and topped with a tiled roof. They feature three casement windows and a stringcourse. Forge House has a door with four moulded panels set within a brick porch. The adjacent cottage, No 80, has a doorcase with a flat hood supported by brackets. Both cottages have brick relieving arches above their ground floor windows.
