Description

The White House is a 17th-century building on the west side of Charing High Street. It is two storeys high and constructed of painted brick, with a tiled roof. The front elevation features three sash windows with intact glazing bars, including a three-light window on the ground floor. A doorcase, set sideways and approached by three steps with an iron handrail, has pilasters, a projecting cornice, and a six-panelled door.
