Description

Wakeley House is an 18th-century building located on the west side of Charing High Street. It has two storeys, a basement, and attics, constructed of red brick resting on a stone rubble base. The hipped tiled roof features two dormers and a wooden modillion eaves cornice. The façade includes five sashes with intact glazing bars. Access to the entrance is via six steps, which are complemented by an iron handrail. The doorcase is adorned with pilasters, a pediment, a semi-circular fanlight, and a door consisting of six fielded panels.
