Description

5272 KIfNGSNORTH ASHFORD ROAD Wix's Farmhouse TQ 93 NE 19/140 II 2. The original portion consists of the south and west wings, forming an L-shape, probably a late mediaeval hall-house. The angle of the 'L' was filled in in the C18. The whole is faced with brick, now painted, on the ground floor and tile-hung above. Tiled roof in 3 hips. Two windows facing east, 2 windows facing north. Sash windows with glazing bars intact on 1st floor only. Two small bays on ground floor of the east front.
