Description

Wix's Farmhouse is a Grade II listed building that likely dates back to the late medieval period. The original structure consists of the south and west wings, which form an L-shape. In the 18th century, the angle of the 'L' was filled in. The building is faced with painted brick on the ground floor and is tile-hung above. It features a tiled roof with three hips. There are two windows facing east and two windows facing north, with sash windows that have intact glazing bars on the first floor only. Additionally, there are two small bays on the ground floor of the east front.
