Description
Handcock's Farmhouse is a 15th century, two-bay Wealden hall-house with a later wing. The timber-framing is exposed, featuring curved braces and rough cast infilling in the first floor of the end window bays, which oversail. The front has been refaced; the central portion is clad in weatherboarding, the ground floor of the south-east wing is made of red brick, and the ground floor of the north-west wing has tarred weatherboarding. The eaves of the central portion overhang on curved braces, and the building has a steeply pitched hipped tiled roof. There are three casement windows and a bay window in the center of the ground floor.
