Description

Goodrich Cottage is a house dated 1737, with an earlier core. It features a timber frame clad in red and blue brick arranged in a chequered pattern on a ragstone base, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building has a four-bay lobby entry plan and stands two storeys high on a plinth, with a hipped roof and stacks positioned to the right and projecting at the end left. There are four wooden casements on the first floor and three on the ground floor. To the right, there is a door made of six raised and fielded panels, which has a flat hood supported by brackets above it, along with a datestone overhead. The interior includes a catslide outshot at the rear.
