Description

This is a 17th century or earlier timber-framed building, originally two storeys high, located on the south-east side of Egerton The Street. The building is now faced with weatherboarding. It has a hipped tiled roof and four windows. Most of the windows are casements, but the bay furthest to the south-west appears to be a later addition, being higher than the rest of the building and featuring sash windows with intact glazing bars. The doorcases are simple; the one on the right has a flat wooden hood supported by brackets.
