Description

Snoad Hill Cottage is a timber-framed building, likely dating from the 15th century, originally designed as a Wealden hall-house. The ground floor is refaced with red brick, while the upper floor is tile-hung. The only visible timbering consists of curved braces and a bracket that support the overhanging eaves at the center of the building. The end window bays on either side of the central portion, which originally extended over the first floor, have been underbuilt. The cottage has a hipped tiled roof, features Dering windows, and is two storeys high with three windows.
