The Well House, located at No 4 Appledore Court Lodge Road, is a 13th-century building that stands two storeys high with attics and a cellar. The name "The Well House" comes from a well located in the cellar. The structure is built of red brick and features a tiled roof with two gabled dormers. It has a dentilled wooden eaves cornice, one modern bay, and one round-headed window. Additionally, there is a porch with a pediment.
